03-21-12 - 2012 MEF Grant Recipients Announced

The Board of Directors of the Martinez Education Foundation has announced their 2012 Grant Awards. This year, MEF was able to award 37 grants totalling $135,972 for new technology, equipment, tools, books, musical instruments and other physical items to be used in classrooms throughout the Martinez public schools. Seven of the grants in the area of arts and music were made in partnership with the Cameron Baird Foundation. Read more...

Volunteer Enrollment

The Martinez Education Foundation (MEF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising funds that are used to enrich the education of students in the Martinez Unified School District.

YES – I would like to contribute my time to volunteer occasionally at fund raising events that benefit the MEF.






I am interested in helping out with: (check all that apply)

  • MEF/Shell Fun-Run – Fall
  • Bocce Ball Tournament – Fall
  • Annual Mail-a-Thon – Fall
  • BusiKids Fund Raising – On going
  • School Liaison – On going
  • Back to School Registration/Arena days – August
  • Web-Site Liaison/Coordinator – On going

  • I would like to be considered to serve on the MEF Board of Directors



I am short of time, but I would like to make a cash contribution to the MEF.

Students – Volunteering your time to the MEF may qualify as Community Service Credits.
