MEF Legacy/Endowment Fund
The purpose of the Legacy Fund is to establish an endowment fund that benefits the students of the Martinez public schools for present and future generations. The Legacy Fund is financed by annual contributions from MEF and gifts from Probate Estates and/or Living Trusts. The current balance of the Legacy Fund is over $200,000. If you would be willing to remember the Legacy Fund in your Will or Living Trust, please contact Larry Lippow at 925-335-5122 for further details.
Planned Giving
With a planned gift to the Martinez Education Foundation, you can combine your desire to give to charity with your overall financial, tax, and estate planning goals. Busi-Kids
Busi-Kids has been the most successful means of raising funds for the Martinez Education Foundation. Busi-Kids has received generous donations in the past from small businesses, large corporations, foundations and individuals. The Busi-Kids donors are publicized throughout the year by MEF as outstanding corporate or individual citizens who demonstrate leadership through their generous support of the Martinez Education Foundation.
Mail-a-thon
Mail-a-thon is a major fund-raising event that replaces the old Phone-a-thon. Last year was the successful transition to raise much needed funds from our school community. We would like to thank all of the donors who contributed at the walk through registration at the High School and Jr. High. This is one of our most important events of the year.
