The Board of Directors of the Martinez Education Foundation has announced their 2011 Grant Awards. This year, MEF was able to award 24 grants totalling $115,100 for new technology, equipment, tools, books, musical instruments and other physical items to be used in classrooms throughout the Martinez public schools. Two of the grants in the area of arts and music were made in partnership with the Cameron Baird Foundation. Read more...
